He studied at the University of Michigan, earning a BFA degree in Musical Theatre before moving to New York where he lived and worked for 2+ years. He then attended and graduated from the MFA Acting program at the University of California, San Diego (in partnership with the La Jolla Playhouse), and is now based in Los Angeles.
