Summer and Fall updates!

Last April, I performed in Lauren Yee’s new play A MAN, HIS WIFE, AND HIS HAT in the Baldwin New Play Festival. It was a wonderful experience working on a truly great new play!

Classes wrapped up in early June and I headed directly to Minneapolis to spend two months at the Guthrie Theatre. I was selected as one of 12 MFA candidates from around the country to parcipate in the Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training. We spent two months getting to know the theatre and its staff, taking class, and eventually writing and performing an original piece called GOING LIVE!

In early August I headed back to New York to spend about 5 weeks teaching, catching up with friends, and enjoying late summer in the city.

Mid-September brought about my trip back to San Diego for my final year of grad school. In the month that I’ve been back I’ve begun rehearsals for a two person play called ON AN AVERAGE DAY with my classmate Zach Martens. We are producing, directing, and performing in it, with performances scheduled for October 22nd and 23rd. If you’re in the San Diego area, come check it out!
